038 – Intvw: Ken Churchill on Pension Reform

by Sam Crump on October 25, 2015

Show Notes:

This podcast is an interview with Ken Churchill who is an expert on pension reform. After a successful career in solar energy and environmental consulting, Ken now grows pinot noir grapes and owns Churchill Cellars. You can find his wine at www.Churchill-Cellars.com

I talk with Ken while sitting by his vineyard and we discuss how public pensions have grown out of control and are not being adequately addressed by elected officials. This is causing money to be diverted away from essential services like road repair. Ken explains how the problem started and ideas on how it can be resolved. He is also the founder of NewSonoma.org and you can go to that site for lots of info on pension reform.
